כן אני בטוח

American Staffordshire Terriers are essentially the "show" version of the American Pit Bull Terrier. The AKC selected some American Pit Bull Terriers to register as American Staffordshire Terriers and through selective breeding over the years developed the American Staffordshire Terriers we know today. They bred out red noses and Amstaffs for the most part come from show lines, where as APBT's a lot of times come from game-bred lines.

An AKC registered American Staffordshire Terrier can be registered as American Pit Bull Terrier with UKC as well, but an American Pit Bull Terrier can not be registered with AKC, unless the parents are.

So mainly, the differences are in registration and bloodlines, but they can have a slightly different appearance, as UKC standards for the APBT and AKC standards for the Amstaff have a few small differences.

it's just a facier way of saying it. Same dog, one sounds nicer so it's less hated
Just the name..If you say you have an American Staffordshire Terrier, people are impressed by the name..If you say you have a pitbull, they freak out !! OMG !!! a pitbull? they're killer dogs
קודם כל תודה, זה מסביר הרבה דברים.

רק כמה דברים שלא מובנים לי:

אם זה אותו הכלב, רק עם רישום שונה, איך יש הבדלי מראה, מינורים ככל שיהיו ?

"They bred out red noses and Amstaffs"

איך הם הכליאו רד-נוזס ואמסטפס אם רק לאחר ההכלאה האמסטף קיבל את שמו ?
